Who we are

Emerging from the concrete depths of Brisbane/Meanjin, GLYCOL is a band that thrives on angst and musical diversity. This trio, fueled by grunge power and a spirit of sweet disorder, has carved out a unique niche in the music scene. Founded in 2023, GLYCOL consists of three distinct talents: Evan, a jazz-trained drummer whose rhythmic prowess lays the foundation; Luca, the head-banging groover whose bass lines serve as the heartbeat of their sound; and Carlton, the passionate frontman who leads with his raw vocals and gritty guitar riffs.

GLYCOL's music is a fusion of grunge, metal, and hard-hitting punk, reflecting the varied influences and backgrounds of its members. Their sound rebels against the polished and predictable, acting as a middle finger to conventionality, which they reinforce by hosting pop-up shows in unconventional venues. From abandoned warehouses and city car parks to drainways and beneath the ICB bridge, GLYCOL's performances are as raw and unrestrained as their music.
